Bio: And...we are back in Kwajalein as of June, 2016! Back to the hot, drippy beauty of the tiny tropical island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean! My city-tired eyes are popped wide open with the vast and varied blue and turquoise shades of water, the tall green palms swaying in the hot breeze, the soft fluffy explosion of cottony clouds drifting across the vivid blue sky, the expanse of white and tan sandiness, dotted with tiny iridescent sand crabs skittering in and out of their little sand holes along the lagoon shore - oh how my eyes have missed this! I have been neglecting my writing this last year, but these sights are loaded with beautiful new inspiration, so I pick up my pen again. Won't you join me? We moved to beautifully warm and dry Nevada in 2014, from the cold, wet and gorgeous Northeast. I miss the lush and lovely green of the NE, but have to say I LOVE the hot dry air here. You'll see that, though I am an amateur, I love to photograph what catches my eye, then write about it - even when it's goofy. Sometimes I get caught up in current events and log my thoughts, and heartily invite you to log yours. Before settling in the Northeast in 2012, we lived on Kwajalein Island, in the beautiful, tropical Marshall Islands, where life was laid back, sandy and gorgeous! What can I say, it was a beach life! I'm a wife, mother, and mother-in-law to a brave wounded warrior. I'm a touchy-feely, emotional, but usually logical (thanks to my engineer husband), positive thinking family girl who loves life - even with all its ups and downs. But most of all, I love God and all of His beautiful creation, and love to ponder upon and share this awesome journey of life.
